"ABCs of Art" is an extraordinary alphabet book filled with an explosion of colorfully illustrated letters created in the Fauvism style that teach early readers their ABCs and art terms from A is for Artist to F is for Foreshorten to K is for Kiln to P is for Perspective to Z is for Zentangle.

Tanyia L. Bowlding is a native New Yorker and currently resides in Canarsie Brooklyn. She received a B.A. in Art from Marymount Manhattan College in 1996 and is currently working on her master's degree in Visual Communication Design from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA. Having been born and raised in the "Big Apple" Tanyia was exposed to different art forms from a variety of cultures. She loved art so much that she became a teacher in 1997 and has taught in both the NYC public and private school system and the Hampton City school system in Virginia.

As a licensed teacher of Fine Arts with over 20 years of experience nurturing creative expression among elementary and middle school scholars; both regular ed and special needs, Tanyia created and implemented innovative, thought-provoking art lessons that have real-life applications. She has also taught art clubs, honors art classes, gifted art classes, and enrichment art classes for gifted high-ability art scholars. Art contests, exhibits, and shows were held for her art scholars during the school year to celebrate each scholar's talent.

In college, Tanyia used TSquare to sign her artwork, which later became Tsquare Designs. She does face painting, and body art facilitates paint parties, and creates banners, logos, illustrations, business cards, and more. Her two loves, teaching and art have birthed her first book "ABCs of Art."
