The Baby Einstein Company, founded in 1997 by stay-at-home mom JulieAigner-Clark, has produced numerous videos, CDs, cassettes, DVDs, flash cards,and puppets, and has received several awards and citations for its work. Thecompany is extending its brand through sales in the mass market, as well asthrough its licensing relationship with Hasbro for toys. Other licensingrelationships in interactive multimedia and television are in the works.

Julie Aigner-Clark, founder, is the full-time mother of two little girls and is also a former teacher. She conceived the idea for the Baby Einstein Company out of a desire to provide baby-friendly exposure to music, art, and poetry for her own children.
