Mary E. Gruetzke has been an Executive Editor at Scholastic and Senior Editor at Bloomsbury Children’s Books/Walker Books for Young Readers, and has had further experience at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers and HarperCollins Children’s Books. She has teacher certification for elementary grades and is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
