Der Text entstand dabei während eines über viele Jahre laufenden Seminars, welches am Institut für Philosophie der Universität Wien unter Leitung von Professor Dr. Friedrich Grimmlinger abgehalten wurde und in dem der Hegelsche Text gemeinsam Satz für Satz gelesen und ausgelegt wurde.
