Summary

Answers to about a thousand questions regarding the Supreme Court, similar to other books in the Handy series. The information will span from the origins of the court to practical matters-the federal judiciary system, when the Supreme Court is in session, how cases reach the court, and the argument, decision and appeal process. A majority of the book will address constitutional law through significant cases brought before the court, and those sections will cover as well as the social, cultural, and political atmosphere in which judges are nominated and serve on the court. Quotes, anecdotes, resources will round out the book.

Author Biography
