Kara Venus lives in New England with her daughter, husband and two dogs. Her love for dogs and volunteering with local rescues inspired this story! She works as a marketing professional by day and enjoys skiing, gardening and traveling. She hopes this story encourages you to feel confident about welcoming a new family member, two legged or four legged!Debora Dyess lives in Central Texas with her (usually) patient husband, rescue dog and three cats. She enjoys walking the afore mentioned canine, writing, illustrating and working as a children's minister in her local church. She is mother of four and grandmother of 10.
