Author Biography

David A. Waite, Ph.D., is vice president of integrated performance assurance compliance and technology programs for CH2M Hill's Federal Group, Ltd. (FGL). He has 28 years of experience in the areas of health physics, environmental radioactivity, nuclear and mixed waste management, risk assessment, and program management. William T. Heartz, Ph.D., is director of quality assurance for CH2M Hill Hanford, Inc. He has 28 years combined education and experience in geotechnical engineering, quality assurance, and project and line management. W. David McCormack is the director of integrated performance assurance for CH2M Hill's Federal Group, Ltd. He has 20 years of comprehensive technical and management experience in environmental, occupational, and operational safety. Previous to his work at CH2M Hill, he managed Foster Wheeler Environmental's environmental safety and health department.
