Summary

When discussing mission, it's easy to rely on the New Testament and overlook the importance of the Old Testament. Kaiser corrects this tendency by focusing on the missiological importance of the Old Testament and explaining its missionary message.

Author Biography

Walter C. Kaiser Jr. is president and Colman M. Mockler Distinguished Professor of Old Testament at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is the author of numerous books, including Toward an Old Testament Theology, Toward an Exegetical Theology, and A History of Israel.
