Summary
Teen Advisors is a youth movement in high schools across the nation in which teens encourage one another and hold each other accountable to live morally upright lives. Teen Chat presents in "chat room" format what the Teen Advisors communicate in classrooms. It puts a positive spin on "peer pressure, " reinforcing morally sound choices among young people. Using the upbeat format of an Internet chat room, teens encourage other teens to commit themselves to refrain from alcohol, drugs and premarital sex. Ideal for parents, pastors, teachers and youth workers to give as gifts to teens. The book includes information on how to start Teen Advisors in your area.
Author Biography
Mike Yorkey is the former editor of Focus on the Family Magazine and is a frequent contributor to Focus on the Family's teen magazines Breakaway and Brio. He and his wife Nicole have two teenage children
