Author Biography
Roberto Esposito is a leading Italian political philosopher who teaches at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Italy. His most recent books to appear in English are Living Thought: The Origins and Actuality of Italian Thought, Terms of the Political: Community, Immunity and Biopolitics (Fordham), and Third Person: Politics of Life and Philosophy of the Impersonal.
Zakiya Hanafi is the author of The Monster in the Machine: Magic, Medicine, and the Marvelous in the Time of the Scientific Revolution. Her latest book translation is New Demons: Rethinking Power and Evil Today. This is the fourth book by Roberto Esposito that she has translated into English.
